MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
NANM invites the professional artist, the educator, the student, the amateur, the lover of music—YOU—to become a part of our "Pride in a cultural heritage." Your membership will help ensure that talented yet under-served and unacknowledged musicians, particularly those of African descent, will always be included among the musical arts mainstream.
All members of NANM must be affiliated with a local branch in or near his/her city. A listing of our active branches can be found on our REGIONS & BRANCHES page. NANM offers memberships at varying levels to facilitate the needs of members of all ages, musical proficiency, and professional stature. Here is a breakdown of each of these divisions:
Annual membership may be renewed in each category of membership, provided the individual is a member in good standing. He/she must have satisfied all local and national financial obligations of dues and assessments, and must have complied with the rules and regulations set forth in the constitution of the National Association of Negro Musicians, Inc. and the local Branch Constitution. For more information on membership, please contact Dr. Sylvia Hollifield, 2nd Vice President, at sthnanm@gmail.com
