Celebrating the resilience of African and Black American musical traditions that magnifies the power of wind and percussion instruments in our classical heritage.

​It is with great anticipation that we invite you to attend the upcoming NANM National Convention, to be held July 18 - 22, 2026 in Norfolk, Virginia at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott.  Our workshops and offerings will feature various concerts, workshops, and clinics, including the NANM Scholarship Competition for Woodwinds & Brass, the New Century Competition for Percussion, the William Warfield Masterclass, Eastern Region Night Concert, and the Gala Awards Banquet​.  A complete schedule of workshops, clinics, performances, and much more, is forthcoming. This year's convention will be an event you will not want to miss!  Registration now open!  Early Registration has been extended to March 15, 2026.

** - Senior members are those 70 years and over. Photo ID may be required.

## - Day passes do not include specialized events (e.g., Life Member Winners Reception, Region Night Concert, Gala Awards Banquet).
