The Education Manager is responsible for a portfolio of engagement, education, and professional development programs. They manage the Education and Community Engagement Network; coordinating meetings, communications, and manage the Opera Teens program, including facilitating the Teen Advisory Council, monthly learning opportunities, annual conference programming, and member recruitment.
Preferred Skills
Reporting to the Director of Learning and Leadership, the ideal candidate is a forward thinker with strong organizational and interpersonal skills and full comprehension of office management systems and procedures. Must be passionate about nonprofit performing arts in the areas of administration and arts education. Familiarity with opera is essential.
Salary, and Compensation
Full-time/exempt salary commensurate with experience, expected in the $60Ks. OPERA America provides excellent health benefits, a pension package, paid vacation, and life and disability insurance to all full-time employees.
